Eligibility

• The course is designed for children (e.g., school-age children, maybe ages 5-14 or 5-16) to enrol in a “regular” skill/learning programme.
• The child should be enrolled in school (or equivalent) and have parental/guardian consent.
• The child should have basic literacy appropriate to their age (e.g., for courses involving reading/writing) and basic computer use if it’s computer-based.
• Some institutes may require a minimum age (e.g., 5 years or 6 years) and may cap at a maximum age (say 16 years) for the “kids” version.
• Basic proficiency or readiness to participate in a structured class (for example, comfortable with classroom environment) is often assumed.

🎯 Learning Outcomes (What children will be able to do after completion)

On successful completion of the CKRC course, a young learner should be able to:

• Develop foundational academic/skill-based competencies appropriate for their age group (e.g., basic computer literacy, reading/writing skills, logical thinking, basic numeracy).
• Gain regularity, discipline and better learning habits (attendance, assignments, task completion).
• Enhance confidence in a particular domain taught in the course (for example: computer basics + keyboard, or foundational science & maths, or “regular skill” like typing, DTP, design, etc).
• Use the learned skills in real-life contexts (for example, create a simple document/presentation, use a computer to type and print, understand basic computer operations) if the course is technology-based.
• For older children: be ready for more advanced courses (e.g., certificate in computer applications, advanced Excel, etc) by building a strong base.
• If applicable: build a portfolio or have demonstrated tasks/projects (e.g., making a mini project, design, presentation) which show their ability in the skill taught.
