🎯 Learning Outcomes

After completion of the DPCH course, students should be able to:

Assemble, install and configure PC hardware components: motherboards, CPUs, RAM, storage devices, power supplies, peripherals, etc.
Troubleshoot hardware faults in PCs and laptops (component failures, BIOS/firmware issues, assembly errors, etc.).
Install operating systems (Windows, Linux) and device drivers; configure and optimize system performance.
Set-up, configure and maintain small local area networks (LANs), connect devices, understand routers/switches, apply TCP/IP basics.
Maintain PC maintenance: preventive maintenance, cleaning, upgrading, swapping components, diagnosing faults.
Provide support in roles such as hardware technician, desktop support engineer, network support, PC maintenance, etc.
Optionally, develop basic soft skills: communication, teamwork, technical documentation, job readiness.
